Because your wallet hasn't suffered nearly enough.
To end the week before the holidays on a lighter note, I'd like to mention the various deals going on right now. Not only did the most recent Humble Indie Bundle go up this week, but the annual Winter Steam Sale has also started.
This latest Humble Bundle includes Shank 2, Snapshot, Closure, The Binding of Issac and its DLC Wrath of the Lamb, and also a non-game inclusion of Indie Game: The Movie. Beating the current average of about seven dollars also gets you Dungeon Defenders and its DLC, and The Legend of Grimrock. Many of the games soundtracks are also available for those that give. I'm considering picking it up for the inclusion of Indie Game: The Movie alone, since I've been meaning to watch it for quite some time now.
Doubtless that at least a couple more things may be added to the bundle down the line as well. By the time you see this post there will still be well over 12 days left. Although my current feelings as to the The Binding of Issac are mixed, I would say that the base game alone is worth the contribution of a dollar if you haven't played it, just make sure that you don't install the DLC until you've thoroughly beaten that and you'll be fine.
Right now the Steam Winter Sale is also going on. Particular bundles on sale right now are the entire Hitman franchise, the entire Prince of Persia franchise, and a Borderlands bundle as well. The sale is going from the 20th until the 5th, so you can be sure that there's going to be a lot of games going for pennies on the dollar. I myself am looking out for a couple of offerings, but only time will tell if they're too new to get discounts yet or not.
Anyways, that's pretty much it for this week. Next week there will be a couple of updates, but not everyday due to the holidays. Still, expect something about the War Z nonsense that's been going on lately at the very least.
Also, you know, happy not apocalypse I guess. shrug
Oh, and happy holidays too. See you next week!
